Cycle rides offered by SCA vary in length and times, but are all at a gentle pace of 8-10 miles per hour on road and can accommodate at maximum 8x people on set itinerary rides. The rides offer a nice mixture of cycling and sightseeing whilst being escorted by a cycle leader to show you the way. What a great way to visit the many interesting sights of Suffolk. All set itinerary rides rides are circular and start and end in Saxmundham. Please note that you will need to be over the age of 12 years of age for all set itinerary rides.

Please note, set itinerary cycle rides are offered every 2x weeks. However, SCA also offer customised cycle rides to suit your needs or requirements whether in a group or on a 1-1 basis. For example, you may be a family, or team of workers that want to go on a team building day or a group of people who have never done much cycling and would like to experiment with a shorter cycle ride. On the other hand you may want longer escorted rides visiting places like Hollesley near Woodbridge or Southwold via Walberswick Nature Reserve. Or you may want to combine cycling with another interest such as walking or visiting an array of village churches for example. Whatever your need, just ask and we may be able to help.
